page for download of DMX EDI modules, tables, documentation and help files.
|
This page is intended for DMX registered users who wish to obtain the latest versions of the modules which they have purchased. All modules are downloadable as .zip archives, and will need to be extracted using Pkunzip, Winzip, or one of the other 'unzippers'. The executables will normally have the name DMXxxxxx.EXE, and will need to be moved to your DMX\BIN area. Please read the Change Log online, or download CHANGES.ZIP, which contains the change log in .RTF format, to find out whether you want to download a module. Page last modified 2009-00-30 Viewing any of the 'raw' directories by a link from this page will open a new browser window for you. Note: These modules will only be usable by clients who already have a registered copy of the module, unless they are marked as '(free)', or unless you download the D32BASE.EXE skeleton installation. Remember to download the matching documentation from the document area for Freebies. The absolute latest modules and documentation are first made available on the technical server. This should not be used unless you are an established DMX user. If you want a to download a complete, self-installing, DMX system to evaluate then Click Here For the very latest release versions you can access a web server on our development system by Clicking Here . You can also access these versions by anonymous FTP to edmxtech.co.uk . 32-bit Windows Modules If you want to see the dates & sizes for the files then go direct to the download directory by clicking here. A few of the Win 16 programs may still be available here

UNSM DMX Tables (free) In the tables/ directory are a number of DOS self-extracting archives containing DMX tables for all the UNSM's defined in each EDIFACT release from D93a onwards. These may be subsetted at will. The DxxxERRS files contain the reports from the batched compilation of the tables, and normally show minor inconsistencies in the default mapping applied to each table. If you wish to create your own messages from scratch then download the DxxxSEGS.exe for the directory you want, and the DMXMTAB.ZIP file which contains a table maker. The DxxxSEGS files contain all the segments for a directory in DMX .SRC form, and .MSG files which define the UNSM's to DMXMTAB. Use the existing .msg files to see how they are set out, construct your own MYMESS.MSG, and then run DMXMTAB and select it. A .SRC table will be created which can be compiled to .DMT/.SUP working tables by using DMXTCOMP. There is limited documentation for this .... until now it has been used internally by EDIMatrix. .... but such as there is can be found in UTILITY Although not intended primarily as such, the DMX tables viewed by DMXTLIST and DMXMDIAG do provide a form of documentation for the messages they are created for. The documentation for DMXTLIST is in the DMXTOOLS zip. A complete set of DMX tables for ANSI X12 (3040) transactions can be made available if there is any demand. To view the tables directory click here 1998-07-22 We have recreated the files from D95a onwards. A slight error in the code conversion file used when processing DIRDEF had caused the previous versions to have fixed length fields (which are rare) set to length 1.
